Peloton Against Plastic is not your standard plastic documentary. This is a journey of 2 men and others seeking to find and share the uplifting efforts of those doing their bit for the planet.
We know about the problem, now what are we going to do about it?
Filmed in beautiful South East Asia, lets take a ride, open our minds and be responsible travelers on this floating paradise called Planet Earth.
Stay after the documentary for a discussion with the people behind PLASTICPeople to talk about how we can act individually to prevent plastic ending up in the landfill.
PLASTICPeople is a company based in Vietnam, founded by Nestor and Nano in September 2019 after 2 years of research and development in the transformation of plastic waste. Not only is it an environmental project, but it is also a social project.
PLASTICPeople‘s goal is to create a scalable and replicable sustainable business model to encourage the collection, segregation and transformation of plastic waste. They focus mainly on types of plastic that are commonly not collected nor recycled and transform plastic waste into building materials that can be used to make furniture, construction, decoration or any product made of building blocks (boards, panels and poles). By producing useful high standard design and affordable end products out of plastic waste, they are giving value to it.
